Update on Admissions Processing at RMIT
To our valued agent partners,
It has been two short months since our new admissions system (AIR – Studylink) went live.
As with any new system on the scale at which RMIT University operates, the migration and processing of existing applications during this transition period has proved challenging. This has resulted in a blowout in our turnaround times in recent weeks. We acknowledge that this has also impacted our applicants, many of whom are contacting you about their RMIT applications.
Our Admissions team have been working tirelessly and putting in a lot of extra hours over weekends and evenings, to work through the backlog of applications, whilst also implementing and improving the new system.
We very much appreciate your continued support and patience during the transition phase. In the long term this system will provide an improved service for us all.
We are committed to improving our service levels as we know how critical this is for you and our future students. Please reassure our applicants that we will shortly be in touch and we will also endeavour to communicate this message directly with them also.
During this time please continue to let your regional managers know of any urgent applications that need prioritisation. Prioritisation will be given to those who have applied for Semester 1, 2019, especially those packaged with English and who need to accept immediately.
Best wishes,
